Half way there

Being on a motorcycle is one of the purest feelings of joy there is. Riding alongside good friends and discovering new places while you’re at it isn’t so bad either. In 2018, having moved across the country a little over a year earlier, a plan to ride to the middle of the country to meet my east coast friends in Badlands National Park in South Dakota came together. Events turned out a little different than the initial plan… but that seems to be how all the best stories come together.

Before its end, one bike was stolen, one bike’s clutch failed, and one lost a chain just miles from home. One bike survived the whole trip. Four very different adventures unfolded as each of us worked through the unexpected. Here are the photos from my leg of the trip.
